PURPOSE & CHAMPIONSHIP SCOPE
Stock Market Simulation is an immersive trading event where participants experience the dynamics of real-world stock market trading. The event recreates live market conditions, allowing participants to buy, sell, and manage a diversified portfolio using mock currency.
Participants are tested on market understanding, risk management, analytical thinking, and decision-making under pressure, closely simulating real investor behavior.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- 01Team Size: Exactly 3 registered members per team.
- 02Team Leader Login: Only one member ('Team Leader') is allowed to login from their device to participate across all rounds.
- 03Trading Rules: Only stocks provided by organizers can be traded through the official trading sheet/platform.
- 04Strict Trading Discipline: No negative balances, borrowing, short selling, margin trading, or derivatives.
- 05Venue Discipline: Arrive on time; decisions of the organizing committee are final.

Things To Bring
- College ID Card / Government-issued ID Card: Carry both the original and a photocopy for identity verification and hassle-free entry to the event
- Mobile Phones and Laptops: Ensure all devices are fully charged and carry their respective chargers
- Power Bank and Extension Board: Carry these if required to ensure uninterrupted participation throughout the event
- These arrangements will help ensure a smooth, convenient, and enjoyable event experience.

Team Guidelines
- Each team should consist of exactly 3 members who are registered for the event
- Make sure that all 3 members of the team are present at the venue when the event starts and any changes in team members should be informed prior to the organizers
- From each team, only one member from the team ('Team Leader') would be allowed to login from their device to participate in the first round and other rounds (if the team qualifies in the first round)
- Failing to adhere to the guidelines of the Stock Market Simulation organizing committee will result in immediate disqualification.

Trading Rules & Regulations
- Only the stocks provided by the organizers can be traded
- All trades must be made through the official trading sheet/platform
- Participants can buy or sell only during the announced trading sessions
- Stock prices will change only when announced by the organizers
- Once a trade is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or modified
- Negative balance or borrowing money is not allowed
- Short selling, margin trading, or derivatives are not permitted
- Participants must maintain an updated portfolio after every transaction
- Insider information, unfair means, or communication regarding future price updates will lead to disqualification
- In case of any dispute, the decision of the organizing committee will be final.

Venue Discipline and Safety
- The rules decided by the organizing committee are final in case of any disagreement
- All participants will be informed with the exact timings of Stock Market Simulation in advance by the organizing committee
- All participating teams are expected to reach the venue on time (the organizing committee will not be liable in case of disqualification due to late arrival).

Disqualification
- A team may be disqualified for: Attempting multiple logins from one team
- Attempts of cheating in the QUIZ ROUND
- Attempt to disrupt the flow of Stock Market Simulation
- Attempts to argue unnecessarily with the organizing committee members without any valid reason.

Portfolio Value
Total financial returns generated on the initial ₹1,00,000 mock budget.
Strategy & Risk Management
Investment balance, portfolio diversification, and adaptability to market shifts.
Decision-Making & Execution
Speed, precision, and tactical accuracy of trading actions.
