EVENT OVERVIEW

PURPOSE & CHAMPIONSHIP SCOPE

The Maze Challenge is a hands-on robotics competition designed to test participants’ skills in robot design, programming, navigation logic, and sustainable engineering. Teams are required to design and program autonomous or wireless-controlled robots capable of navigating a predefined maze that simulates real-world environmental and sustainability-related challenges.

The maze consists of multiple zones representing different environmental conditions such as restricted paths, hazard zones, and resource areas. Robots must efficiently navigate through the maze, collect resource tokens, and reach the finish point within the given time limit. Emphasis is placed on precision, speed, stability, and energy-efficient movement, encouraging participants to think innovatively while aligning with sustainable practices.

This event promotes problem-solving under constraints, technical creativity, and awareness of eco-conscious design in robotics.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • 01The maze features sections that represent various environmental zones.
  • 02Robots must collect resource tokens while avoiding hazard zones.
  • 03Bonus points are awarded for energy-efficient elements.
